Regulations:

EAW (Electricity At Work Act) Regulations 1989
'As may be necessary to prevent danger, all systems shall be maintained so as to prevent so far as is reasonable practicable such danger'

Health & Safety At Work Act 1974
'All employers have a legal duty to provide a safe plant and equipment and every employer must ensure that equipment must be maintained in an efficient state, in efficient working order and in good repair'.

Portable Appliance testing is an easy way of complying with these requirements.

Fixed Wiring Testing

Fixed wiring testing must be carried out on a 5 year basis (unless otherwise listed on your previous report)

  • We are NICEIC (National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contractors) approved which means us and our procedures are vetted on a yearly basis, therefore ensuring you of the best service in this area.
  • As this testing requires power shut down on certain areas, we can carry this testing out in the holidays, weekends or after hours at no extra charge.
  • We offer a full schematic drawing of your electrical installation included in the price of the testing.
