We have experience in working in hospital environments and understand the sensitivity involved in certain areas. We only test non patient contact equipment, electricity at work act pm32 (normal PAT testing) Patient contact appliance testing is totally different, as it is under different regulations.

Suggested frequency of inspection and testing of equipment made by the IEE (Institute of Electrical Engineers) is anything from 6 months to a year, providing equipment under test is subject to regular safety checks, an annual test program would be sufficient.

We use Seaward test equipment that has a touch leakage facility which allows us to test powered up equipment which is essential in this type of environment.
